The Wilds has seven bedrooms. There are three king-sized double bedrooms upstairs, one of which has an en-suite shower room and one of which has a free-standing bath. On the ground floor there are two king-sized double rooms, one of which has a free-standing bath, and a zip-and-link twin room with an en-suite shower room. We also have a room with two sets of bunk beds with standard single mattresses that can sleep up to four people.

The Wilds’ is in a 19th century building and as such there are some areas that some guests may find challenging to access. A spiral staircase leads to the upstairs bedrooms and the bar/terrace area. There are three bedrooms downstairs with corridor access to the kitchen and reception rooms and the access to the pergola and in the courtyard is down a paved pathway with steps down to the hot tub. We want all guests to be as comfortable as possible at The Wilds so please get in touch with any queries at info@thewildsestate.co.uk.

The Wilds operate with a three night minimum stay.

During very popular periods of the year we may operate with a longer minimum stay.

Unfortunately, we do not currently allow dogs.

Children are most welcome at The Wilds. We have a bunk room which is perfect for up to four children who are old enough to sleep in their own bed. We can also provide a high chair and up to two foldable travel cots for our youngest guests should they be required.

The Wilds is on the High Street of a quiet, residential village. Out of respect for the other residents of the village, we regret that we are unable to accept bookings for parties or stag or hen dos and ask that the majority of the guests on any given stay are above 30 years of age. We ask guests to finish using the roof terrace and hot tub by 10pm and be mindful of noise levels indoors.

Check in is from 4:30pm and check out is at 10:00am. If you would like to check in earlier, please ask, and we will do our best to accommodate.

There is free parking in Milton-under-Wychwood. It is possible to pre-book taxis from Kingham and Charlbury train stations. Please see the Getting Here page for more information.

We accept card payments including American Express.

At the point of booking we will take a 25% deposit of the total cost of the stay. We will take a refundable £250 damage deposit with your booking which will be held as a pre-payment and automatically refunded 7 days after your stay upon confirmation that there are no deductions/damages incurred.
