By road

We are approximately two hours’ drive from central London, ninety minutes from Birmingham and Bristol and forty-five minutes from Cheltenham and Oxford. The address and postcode for satellite navigation systems is 64 High Street, Milton-under-Wychwood, OX7 6LE.

By rail

The Wilds is 75 minutes by rail from London Paddington. The closest stations to the house are Shipton (1.5mi), Kingham (4mi) and Charlbury (7 mi).

Parking

Street parking is permit-free on Milton-under-Wychwood High Street on a first-come, first-served basis. Alternatively, there is a car park at the community centre/football pitch at the top of the High Street, opposite The Hare public house. We have off-street parking for two motorcycles at the property and can also safely look after bicycles.

Many Cotswolds villages are not well-suited to accommodating lots of vehicles. Although there is public parking in Milton-under-Wychwood, we encourage our guests to share cars or use public transport where possible. Taxis are available from Kingham and Charlbury stations.
